IP over 1394 実験 firewire
FireWireで接続後、下記のように設定する。
WindowsXP:1394ethernet 有効にする。

Yes, that’s true. In fact, Microsoft announced that they were discontinuing support for 1394 IP networking in 2004 (so you’ve had a bit of time to plan for alternatives ;<)
However, when I did a Google search for “”windows 7 1394 network””, the third link pointed to a forum post (http://windows7forums.com/windows-7-networking/5903-1394-firewire-direct-connection.html) that include the information that “”Unibrain offers free FireWire networking drivers for Windows called ubCore which support Windows Vista and later versions.””
Unibrain has a download page (http://www.unibrain.com/download/download.asp) that offers drivers.
